Featured Wines Presented by Woodman Wines and Spirits:

William Fèvre is one of the most important estates in the Chablis region, with nearly 40 acres of Chablis Grand Cru vineyards. Not only is Fèvre the largest owner of Grands Crus in the region, but it also has the distinction of owning parcels in six of the seven Grands Crus. To quote a few wine critics:

“Under the director of Didier Seguier , a cellar master who hails from southwest France , Fevre has been catapulted into the top echelon of Chablis’ producers in a heart beat.”

Robert M. Parker , Jr. , The Wine Advocate #146

“Today’s Fevre wines rank with those of Raveneau and Vincent Dauvissat among the best of the region …”

Stephen Tanzer , International Wine Cellar #109

“The rise in quality here [ William Fevre ] since Joseph Henriot acquired the domaine in 1998 has been nothing short of meteoric.”

- Allen Meadows, BURGHOUND.com - #12

Bouchard Père & Fils was founded in 1731 by Michel Bouchard and his son, who passed through Burgundy on their travels to Flanders for their family's textile business. The Bouchards' original 18th century order book still exists today, showing the early transactions for both wine and textiles. Over the centuries, nine successive generations of the Bouchard family acquired vineyards, gradually increasing their estate holdings, known as the Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils. The domaine is now the largest in the Côte d’Or. Its 321 acres of vineyards include 185 acres of Premiers Crus and 30 acres of Grand Crus.
