| Riverdale Farmers Market | Hyped Bottle Les Enclos is a 2nd wine from the very hot Languedoc vintner Christophe Blanc's Domaine de Montpezat. A rather limited amount is being released on May 14 (see Product # 711374). At $18.95 this Merlot and Cab. Sauv. blend is not likely to last long on the shelves. So although Gremolata has not tasted this bottle, and can't really vouch for it's worth and value, it's probably a good buy if you're lucky enough to see it. Bon chance! | Gremolata Books:

Mondovino: Jonathan Nossiter's documentary on the wine industry, Mondovino, is finally being released after showing in this city during last fall's Film Festival. Gremolata recently got a sneak peek at the North American wide release version, which has been stripped own to a spare 135 minutes (!). While this is a must-see film for any wine enthusiast, it's also a polemic. Mondovino puts forward the terroiriste argument in a very direct way that leaves little room for balanced debate...[more]. | |||||
