Overview

This wine is made from Montepulciano grapes and is aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 11 months.  As a result, it is a highly aromatic and flavourful wine offering big notes of plums, chocolate, vanilla, and cherries on the nose.  Lots of fruit on the palate as well along with mild tannins.  First try of this wine was with a roasted chicken dinner - and it was perfect compliment.
